GMail problems
I've used GMail for quite a while now, but this weekend they've really pissed me off. Apparently I've been hit by some spam-fighting action and cannot view image attachments, nor send attachments. Really annoying - I'm happy that I have a fall-back mail address and that I still can access my GMail address book.

What confuses me is all the hate directed at google while the guilty parties are the spammers that make the system unstable and unusable in the first place.
The thread I referred to was indeed heated, but there has to be a better way of finding the suspect accounts. I've never used anything but the web interface and Google's own MIDP application to access my mail, and my usage patterns are fairly normal - and still my account get dragged into this somehow.
Another reason I wish it was easy to transfer to the pay service. E-mail is important enough to me and a free service is just kind of scary.
I think Gmail services has declined so badly . Have you tried to download a file from GMail recently ? It takes ages:-(
Actually, I think that the service is working kind of well right now. Very few hickups, just some slowness from time to time. But slow access times is really a part of life these days, so it is nothing to worry about.
Today all my emails disappeared, I mean just disappeared and some were very important - airline ticket codes, hotel and rental car codes. I can't get any answers to what is going on. I tried clicking on "All" and that brings up some emails from 2007, everything else including all in the "Trash" folder have just plain disappeared - I have now set it up save copies on my Hotmail account but I am really bummed over the lost information.
Have you been in contact with the GMail support people. They generally solve these issues - they did solve mine.
